



Membership costs roughly what you would spend on a single night of dinner and drinks. You only pay the monthly fee. Every experience is free.
Here's the breakdown:
- 1 experience per month (Monthly): $99/mo per person
- 2 experiences per month (Biweekly): $189/mo per person
- Premium Add-On: additional $26/mo per person (this includes premium experiences like Blacksmithing, Falconry, Skydiving, Omakase, etc. added into your rotation)
Under your membership, the cost of ALL your experiences is completely covered.
Your membership also comes with white-glove concierge support, full suggested itineraries near your activities, and access to our vast array of incredible experiences.
*Note: The only costs we do not cover are the occasional extra expenses like street or garage parking, vendor tips (optional), gift shop purchases, food and drink, etc.
The short answer: YES! (Most of the time)
The longer answer: It really depends on the experience itself, and your availability and preferences.
Sundays and Saturdays are by far our most popular experience dates. If you choose to have an activity on, say, a Wednesday evening, you are far less likely to see other members (but you may see non-members - some experiences are not exclusively Renaissance members). Some experiences are also more solitary than others (think a sensory deprivation tank vs a big pottery class).
That said, we always do our best to book you in groups, so being open minded helps! If you continually decline (or reschedule) whatever we offer you, it decreases the odds you'll be booked with others. At the end of the day, we have no control over who is available when, and who actually shows up.
Rather than think of us as a "social meetup group", it's better to think of Renaissance Club as your personal experience curator. Each member is on their own journey of trying new things on a regular basis. Sometimes, you'll be the only member at your experiences, but far more often you'll enjoy things with other members, and have plenty of opportunities to make new connections!
Our typical age range is mid-30s to mid-50s, though we have members from 21 to 80+!
While we strive to group members together within a 10-year age range whenever possible, though we can't always guarantee it due to varying schedules, preferences, and other factors. Also, most experiences include non-members, so interactions may vary.
Overall, we try to emphasize that Renaissance Club really shines for people interested in trying many new things and meeting people of all walks of life. If your main goal is socializing, some experiences may not meet that expectation. However, as we grow, these challenges decrease, and if you're available on weekends, you're far more likely to meet other members!
Absolutely! Renaissance Club is perfect to join with partners, friends, or family! It's a great way to deepen any relationship.
While there are over 100 unique experiences, each one is derived from one of 6 major categories:
Arts & Crafts - pottery, woodwork, blacksmithing, candle-making, painting, etc.
Culinary Arts - cooking classes, tastings, foraging, coffee roasting, mixology, etc.
Motion - archery, dance, kayaking, climbing, fencing, rage rooms, trapeze, etc.
Culture - live shows, escape rooms, whale watching, magic, exhibits, special tours, etc.
Spirituality - tai chi, meditation, sensory deprivation, sound baths, etc.
Thrill Seeker - high adrenaline activities like skydiving, trapeze, and bunjee jumping
Any experience may be swapped with a different one if you're uncomfortable with it. Your journey is entirely under your control.
Each month, we will ask you to choose three dates you are free.
From there, your concierge meticulously selects and curates your experiences, tailoring each experience to you based on your unique availability, preferences, and date selections.
You may update your availability and preferences at any time in your portal. All of our vendors are highly vetted, and we’re constantly iterating our ration based on member feedback after each experience.
You will receive new curated experiences every month at the top of each membership cycle (which starts and ends on the day you join), ensuring a constant stream of exciting and unique activities to enjoy.
Monthly members will get 1 experience per month. Biweekly members will get 2 experiences per month.
While we do ask that you commit to the date you chose, we get that life happens!
With 99% of experiences, rescheduling is a simple click of a button, so long as we are respecting the vendor's policy.
Every vendor has a different deadline past which we can no longer make any changes. That deadline is determined by the vendor, not us. As long as you request to reschedule before that deadline, we’ll happily reschedule you!
Yes! In your portal, you can skip up to 3 months at a time, completely free.
If you've already paid for a month, and we have not yet booked your experience, notify us right away and we'll happily give you a credit which can be redeemed any time, either as an additional experience, or as an *extra ticket for a friend to a future experience.
*Extra ticket may not be applicable for some premium experiences.
While we ask that you be open-minded, you are never obligated to partake in any experience you are uncomfortable with!
Upon receiving your experience reveal, you have the option to swap it out with something else. Upon hitting this button, you'll see a curated menu of alternative options to choose from.
Since we use your preferences to curate your experiences, this should happen very rarely, if at all.
Great question, and yes! In most cases, you may bring someone else instead of your +1.
There may be a few experiences that only allow those whose exact name is on the ticket, but most experiences should be perfectly fine. To be safe, please reach out to us if you'd like to bring someone else so we can double check for you.
If any activity is canceled by the vendor for any reason (ie weather, illness, booking error, etc.), that, of course, is not on you and you will be rescheduled automatically at no extra charge.
We will always try to make sure you are not repeating experiences until you have completed all possible experiences available to you based on your membership and preferences.
That said, you are always welcome to repeat an experience if you enjoyed it!
If ever you decide to swap out the experience we've surprised you with, you'll be directed a menu of alternative options. Once there, simply type in the name of any fellow club member, and if they are booked for something you are eligible for, you'll be able to request to join them!
Perks is a feature that isn't quite ready yet, but is coming soon!
With Perks, you'll get exclusive discounts to brands, restaurants, coffee shops, events, etc. all throughout LA for as long as you're an active member! These perks will be in addition to (not instead of) your already free experiences!
Think of it as your exclusive "key to the city." The best part? Your benefits will always continue to expand, as we are constantly building new partnerships with brands YOU vote for.
Perks gradually become unlocked in "tiers" the longer you remain a member. We are slowly building up a roster of partnerships we align with, and are so excited to unleash this feature.
*It's worth noting that while this feature is not available yet, members who remain with us when that feature is released will enjoy access to 100% of the perks we have at the time as a gift for being an early adopter! Anyone who joins after the perks are released will not receive these benefits, and will need to unlock those perks over time.

Due to the volume and variety of activities we have happening on any given day, there is no way we could possibly send (much less staff) a representative to be at each experience.
For this reason, we highly encourage members to take charge in sparking conversation with one another if another member is at your activity!
We are constantly growing our network of experiences, and do everything we can to find ones that are as inclusive as possible!
We certainly have experiences that cater to wheelchair users such as pottery, cooking classes, and even garden tours, which are wheelchair friendly. It all really just depends on where you live (and how far you’re willing to drive if you don’t live in the central LA area). There is also the consideration of other factors such as dietary preferences, availability, and other factors which further limit which experiences you’d be able to do.
In the past, we have been able to accommodate those in wheelchairs, at least for a short period of time. It’s admittedly still an ongoing work in progress!
Yes! You can cancel any time! Just make sure to cancel at least 7 days prior to your membership renewing. Your membership will remain active through the end of your current billing cycle.
